Visits to the permanent collection are accompanied. They should be booked online and are open to a maximum of 25 visitors per slot, at the following times:

  • Thursday and Friday, 3:00 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 am and 3:00 pm

Temporary exhibitions

Temporary exhibitions do not require booking and can be freely visited during the opening hours of Collezione Maramotti:

  • Thursday and Friday, 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm;
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Collezione Maramotti holds several hundred artworks dating from 1945 to the present, with more than two hundred of them on permanent exhibition. They represent some of the most pivotal currents in Italian and international art from the second half of the twentieth century and up to our own time.

Collezione Maramotti presents "Through the Floods", an exhibition on the theme of catastrophe. Built around artworks from the collection’s archive – many of them never previously exhibited in this space – this large group show will juxtapose them, for the first time, with masterpieces of the past on loan from prestigious international institutions.

Dominique White, winner of the ninth edition of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women, presents "Deadweight", a body of works made in 2024. After a premiere at Whitechapel Gallery in London, White has conceived a new exhibition design adapted to the spaces of Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia.
